Ryan was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 2003. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in 2006. While in Law School, he was the chairman of the Moot Court Board. He was also an oralist in the 13th Annual Judge Conrad Duberstein Bankruptcy Competition, hosted by St. John’s University School of Law in Queens, New York. Ryan was selected as a member of The Order of Barristers. He was a student member of the St. Thomas More Inns of Court. He also served as a student ambassador, research assistant, and a recipient of the LaNasa-Greco Providence Law Scholarship.

Ryan specializes in many types of cases including insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, and personal injury defense. He was selected to the 2014 Louisiana Rising Stars list.

Ryan is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Texas, and all Louisiana State Courts.
