Biography
Brian was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from Tulane University in 2009. After college, Brian attended a dual degree program at Loyola University of New Orleans, College of Law and College of Business, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration in 2014. While in law school, Brian was selected to be the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Public Interest Law, held several internships with local firms, and held an externship with the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals under the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker.
After law school, Brian worked as a litigation attorney with a respected boutique firm that specialized in defending and representing commercial clients on both sides of the courtroom. Prior to joining Duplass, Brian was in-house counsel for a commercial construction company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he obtained a greater understanding of the financial benefits of effective risk management and claims resolution.
Brian has diverse experience in several practice areas ranging from general liability defense to complex commercial construction defects. He has represented both large commercial companies and local individuals in a diverse array of claims and always approaches each claim with an eye for timely and cost-effective claim resolution.
