Christian received his law degree from Loyola University College of Law in 1994, and was admitted to practice law in Louisiana the same year. He joined Duplass in 1998, and made partner in the firm in 2000. Christian was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2009.
Christian’s law practice includes both managing and defending a significant number of lawsuits involving trucking and automobile accidents, UM and bad faith claims, CGL claims, governmental and municipal claims, medical malpractice claims, E&O claims, and worker’s compensation claims, having tried 30+ jury and judge cases to verdict.
He also focuses a portion of his practice in representing governmental entities, and defending retailers, restaurant groups, commercial property owners, and hoteliers throughout Louisiana for commercial auto, commercial general liability, and workers’ compensation claims.
Christian is a frequent lecturer on a variety of legal topics including negotiating and managing alternative fee agreements (AFAs), claim and file management strategy, defending mTBI claims, early resolution techniques, and mediation.
