Alexandra Serpas

Associate

Alexandra “Allie” Serpas was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In 2014, Allie received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law, and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar. During law school, Allie was elected and served as President of the Student Bar Association. Allie received awards and scholarships throughout her time in law school, including the Loyola College of Law President’s Award and the Loyola Law Alumni Scholarship.

Before joining Duplass, APLC, Allie served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Saint Tammany Parish District Attorney’s Office and the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office. Allie has tried numerous judge and jury trials in Orleans Parish, Saint Tammany Parish, Washington Parish, and Slidell City Court. As a prosecutor, she was responsible for all case and trial preparations, charging decisions, daily court appearances, and indictments to the Grand Jury.

Since 2019, Allie has been an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University New Orleans Department of Criminology and Justice, teaching U.S. Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and other related courses.
