John Yadamec received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans in 2013 and a Juris Doctor from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2017. At Loyola, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and President of the Loyola Maritime Law Society. John was a three-time competitor for the Loyola Moot Court program as a member of the 2016–17 National Team, 2016 Admiralty Team, and 2015 Constitutional Criminal Procedure Team. He was also selected for membership in the Order of Barristers.
Prior to joining the firm in 2018, John was a judicial law clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. In 2017, he presented a paper entitled “A Primer on the Availability of Punitive Damages in Unseaworthiness Claims” at the Louisiana State Bar Association’s 24th Annual Admiralty Symposium.
John worked for several years in the banking industry prior to attending law school. He joined the Firm in 2018.
