Gary
M. Zwain
A magna cum laude graduate of Rutgers University, Gary received his
Juris Doctorate from Tulane University in 1978. Together with Larry
Duplass, he founded the firm in 1987 and today represents clients
in matters throughout the states of Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi
and Florida. On several occasions, Mr. Zwain has been appointed Liaison
Counsel for defense groups in mass tort and class action litigation
pending in Louisiana's federal and state courts and has successfully
tried toxic tort cases on behalf of corporate clients and declaratory
judgment actions on behalf of insurers. In 2005 he served as court
approved Special Master in an effort to re-establish communication
between Louisiana's Federal Courts and lawyers displaced by Hurricane
Katrina.

Affiliations
A member in good standing of the bars of the U.S. District Courts
for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the
U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
In 1994, he was admitted to the Texas Bar. He participates as a
member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Association
of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute, Gary has
been admitted to practice in Louisiana since 1978. He was elected
as a member of the American Board of Trial Attorneys in 2007.
