The Duplass Summer Associate Program is a well-developed and effective model for recruiting, training and retaining top candidates and prospective new attorneys. Duplass actively recruits exceptional candidates from all Louisiana Schools, including Tulane, Loyola, Louisiana State University, and Southern University. Additionally, we aggressively recruit from the LSBA Minority Job Fair.

What you see is what you get.
The Duplass Summer Associate Program is a practical, hands-on realistic introduction to the practice of law. Our six-week program introduces you to the everyday realities of practicing law. And by this, we mean that you will participate everyday. In addition to the standard fare of research and writing, you will attend depositions, participate in client meetings, participate in the development of litigation strategies, and when possible, assist in trials and attend appellate arguments, pretrial conferences, inspections and mediations.

In short, you will interact everyday. Everyday you will apply what you know to benefit our firm, our clients and in return, yourself.
